2. Website access and hosting
When you access this website, technical access and error information is processed to deliver content, maintain a secure service, and investigate faults and abuse. The hosting provider maintains access logs and error logs for these purposes. We use a hosting product supplied by conova communications GmbH, Karolingerstraße 36a, 5020 Salzburg, Austria.
The purpose is the secure and reliable operation of the website. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in the security and operation of the website).
According to conova's written confirmation, both access logs and error logs are retained for 14 days and then automatically deleted. conova has also stated that it does not use any additional sub-processors for the specific hosting product. A data processing agreement, including its annexes, has been signed by both parties.
3. Enquiries by email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide to receive and respond to your enquiry. We do not use these enquiries for newsletters or marketing.
For ordinary enquiries we rely on our legitimate interest in direct communication (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where your enquiry concerns steps taken at your request before entering into a potential contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may apply.
During this static launch phase, no contact form is active. The website therefore does not send contact-form messages through a PHP mail handler, nor does it generate form-related outgoing mail transport logs. Emails sent directly to us are received and stored by the email system used; its retention and backup arrangements are treated separately.
No website database for enquiries is operated. The receiving email system and any associated backups may retain message content. Ordinary contact enquiries are generally retained for no more than six months after their handling has been completed. We review these records at least monthly and arrange deletion in time to ensure that the six-month limit is not exceeded between reviews. Statutory retention obligations, records required for business transactions and legitimate specific claims remain unaffected. This organisational deletion rule applies to the regular message records; any technical mailbox backups are handled separately.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information, in particular health information, by ordinary email.
4. No active contact form or ALTCHA processing
No web contact form is active during this static launch phase. No ALTCHA challenges are issued, no form messages are processed and no form-related replay or rate-limit records are created. If a contact form is activated later, this privacy policy will be updated to reflect the technology actually used at that time.
5. Links to Amazon
This website includes ordinary external links to book listings on Amazon. You leave this website only when you follow such a link. The external service's own privacy information applies to its processing. Amazon content is not intended to be automatically embedded on this site.
6. Cookies, fonts and other services
The website is designed as a static site with locally hosted fonts and images. Analytics, advertising tracking, newsletters, social-media feeds and embedded videos are not planned. The audited development version includes no planned consent-based marketing technologies; the actual production build must be checked separately.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, it can be withdrawn for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Austrian Data Protection Authority.

This notice will be updated if actual website technology or data processing changes.
